House Playbook

Welcome to The Nanson, a place where connections spark, creativity thrives, and unforgettable moments come to life. This Playbook is your guide to keeping the House fun, safe, and unmistakably special for everyone.

Respect and Conduct
Members and guests must behave with courtesy and integrity at all times, on the premises or representing the House, with disruptive, discriminatory, or aggressive behaviour subject to suspension or expulsion. The House must be used respectfully, not for trade or business.

Privacy and Confidentiality
What happens in the House stays in the House. Respect others’ privacy; please don’t share private details, conversations, or House business without consent. Thinking of posting on social media or hiring a photographer? Ask first!

Use of House Facilities
Enjoy the House responsibly. Members, nominees, and guests should treat spaces and amenities with care, as damage could result in penalties or a membership review. Please follow facility-specific rules to keep everyone at ease.

Liability
The House and its staff are not liable for any personal injury, property damage, or financial loss on House premises. Members and their guests enter at their own risk and indemnify the House fully.

Guests
Members may host up to three guests at a time, with each guest permitted up to ten visits per calendar year. All guests must be registered and comply with House rules, and members remain responsible for their conduct.

Private Parties
Planning a private party? Get it approved in writing first. Hosting members are responsible for all charges and for making sure House rules are followed.

House Hours
The House is open seven days a week: Mon to Thu 8am–12am, Fri 8am–1am, Sat 10 am–1am, and Sun 10 am–5pm, with last food orders at 9:30 pm (3:30 pm on Sundays). Temporary closures may occur for public holidays, staff leave, cleaning, maintenance, or other necessary reasons. Outside food and drinks are not permitted.

Guests and Kids
Those below 18 are welcome when accompanied by parents on Sundays and public holidays before 8 pm, and on Saturdays before 4 pm. Each guest is welcome to visit up to 10 times per year, and their full names should be provided in advance.

Use of Address & Mail
The House address is for official House business only – letters and notes are welcome, but parcels, packages, or deliveries of any kind are not (think pen over parcel). While we handle your mail with care, the House is not responsible for anything lost or misdirected, so please ensure it is addressed correctly.

Dress Code
Outfit check: House standards apply. Those who clash with the vibe may be politely turned away, so dress to impress and keep it in tune with the House mood.

Smoking
Enjoy smoking in the designated outdoor areas and do so responsibly, for the comfort of all.

Mobile Devices
Feel free to use mobile devices where allowed; just don’t let notifications steal the show, or you might be shown the exit.

Press, Social Media & Photography
Let’s not spill any secrets. Sharing members, guests, or events on social media or with the press is off-limits without prior permission. Professional photography requires written approval, and professional recording devices are otherwise a no-go in communal spaces. Snap, post, and share the vibe, but don’t forget to tag @thenansonsg and add #thenanson so we can see your moments.

Spa Policies
Your relaxation time is precious. Please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment. To cancel or reschedule, kindly inform us at least 8 hours in advance to avoid a 50% charge for the scheduled services.

Pets
Sorry, Fluffy! For everyone’s comfort, pets are not permitted, except for guide dogs or assistance animals helping to guide the way. If you have any questions, feel free to ask our team.

Parking
You can purchase a 4-hour parking ticket for $6 from Reception. Basement spaces are perfect for bicycles, while motorbikes are kindly asked to find their own spot outside.

Gym Access
Your gains await. Pick up the key from Reception and let the InterContinental Robertson Quay gym be your go-to spot.

Corkage

Mondays are for popping bottles on us! Free corkage for up to 2 bottles per reservation. From Tuesday to Sunday, it’s just $40 per 750 ml for wine and champagne. Sorry, spirits and sake, you’ll have to sit this one out.
